Voxel levels, straight into Godot.
Build a level in VoxiGen Studio, export it, and add one VoxiGenLevel node. The open-source importer turns it into a Godot 4 scene: batched, lit, colliding and with level of detail.

From the studio to a Godot scene in three steps.
No conversion scripts and no hand-placed meshes: the level arrives as it was built.
Build the level
Model the pieces in VoxiGen Studio — walls, floors, props — and place them in a scene. In the browser, free to start.
Export it as a Level
Export the scene as a Level: one GLB per module and a level.json saying where each one goes. Level export is part of the Founder licence.
Add a VoxiGenLevel node
Unzip it into the project, add a VoxiGenLevel node and point it at level.json. It previews in the editor and builds when the game runs.
What the importer does
Free and MIT-licensed. Godot 4.4 or later; tested on 4.7.
- Batched modules — every placement of a module shares one mesh, drawn per chunk: a 400-piece dungeon of 12 modules is a handful of draw calls.
- Colours as exported — VoxiGen's vertex colours are switched on, so nothing renders white.
- Lights — the level's own lights, and the lights a module carries, posed with every placement of it.
- Markers — modules named marker_… become Marker3D nodes for spawn points and pickups, reported by a signal.
- Collision — one trimesh per module, built once and shared by every placement.
- Level of detail — modules exported with LODs switch to half and a quarter of their voxels at the distances you set.
- Levels from anywhere — under res:// through Godot's import, or from disk and user:// at runtime, so a game can load levels its players made.
Free to build. One licence to ship.
VoxiGen Studio is free to start: build and save levels without paying. Exporting a level for Godot needs the one-time $29.99 Founder licence, which also adds mesh export and commercial use. The importer itself is free.
Made this way: VOXEN
VOXEN, a voxel shooter, builds every one of its levels with this pipeline. The hall in the film above is one of them: 8,165 placements, built and lit by the importer alone.
The first level is one tab away.
No install or account needed to start building.
